By placing an order with Kanoa Rentals, you agree to the following terms:
Your rental period begins at the confirmed delivery time and ends at the scheduled pickup time. You must be present or provide access at the delivery location at the agreed time. All rented items, including mopeds and beach gear, must be accessible for pickup at the scheduled time. Early returns do not qualify for refunds or credit. You may select and schedule future delivery and pickup dates based on availability.
You agree to care for all equipment responsibly and use it only for its intended purposes. You must not modify, alter, or misuse any rented item. All gear, including mopeds, must be kept secure and protected from damage, loss, and theft. Excessive dirt, mud, or sand may result in a cleaning fee. Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was received, aside from normal wear.
You agree to have all rented items ready and accessible at the scheduled pickup time. If Kanoa Rentals staff is unable to reach you, or if the equipment is not accessible at the scheduled pickup time, a failed pickup fee may apply. Rental time does not extend due to late arrival or unavailability at pickup.
Kanoa Rentals operates under a strict no-refund policy. All bookings are final and no refunds are provided under any circumstances, including cancellations for any reason, early returns, weather conditions, or customer error. Rescheduling is only allowed if the request is made at least twenty-four hours before the scheduled delivery time, and any change is subject to availability. Requests made within twenty-four hours cannot be accommodated.
Same-day bookings must include a delivery time at least thirty minutes after the booking is placed. Orders placed with less than thirty minutes of notice or outside available delivery windows will not be accepted by the system.
You are responsible for all lost, stolen, or damaged items during your rental period. This includes keys, helmets, accessories, and all equipment. For mopeds, loss or theft results in a charge of one thousand dollars or the full replacement value, whichever is higher. Adding the wrong fuel type results in full repair cost. Kanoa Rentals may charge additional fees for failed pickups, late returns, cleaning needs, or any other costs resulting from your use of the equipment. You authorize Kanoa Rentals to charge your payment method for these fees.
You understand that renting mopeds, scooters, and beach gear carries inherent risks. You assume full responsibility for your safety and the safe operation of all equipment. Kanoa Rentals is not liable for injuries, accidents, property damage, or any issues arising from your use or misuse of rented items. You agree to operate mopeds in accordance with Hawaiʻi state laws, including avoiding freeways, highways, sidewalks, and pedestrian paths. Only the renter listed on the agreement may operate the moped, and carrying passengers is not permitted.
By placing your booking, completing payment, or agreeing at checkout, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted all terms of this Rental Agreement, along with Kanoa Rentals Terms and Conditions and all related policies. This Agreement is legally binding and enforceable under Hawaiʻi law.
